National Jewish Health
National Jewish Health is hiring a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient respiratory medicine program — the nation's leading hospital for respiratory, cardiac, immune, and related diseases. You will manage patients with asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and lung cancer surveillance in a highly specialized academic outpatient environment.
Pulmonology NPs at National Jewish Health practice within disease-specific programs — asthma and allergy, COPD and lung health, or ILD and rare lung disease — alongside nationally recognized pulmonologists and allergist-immunologists. You will interpret pulmonary function tests, manage inhaler and biologic therapy regimens, and serve as the primary follow-up contact for complex respiratory patients between specialist visits.
This role is ideal for NPs with a passion for respiratory medicine and complex chronic disease management who want to practice within the nation's most specialized pulmonary care institution. Candidates with ICU, pulmonary rehab, or critical care RN backgrounds transitioning to NP roles are especially encouraged.
National Jewish Health in Denver, Colorado, is the only facility in the world dedicated exclusively to respiratory, cardiac, immune, and related diseases. It has been ranked the #1 respiratory hospital in the United States by U.S. News & World Report for 25 consecutive years and is a leading center for pulmonary research, clinical trials, and subspecialty training.
