About This Role

Hospitality Care is placing Patient Attendants with a leading private hospital in Delhi. The role involves providing direct non-medical support to admitted patients — assisting with meals, hygiene, mobility, and comfort — under the supervision of assigned nursing staff. This is a compassionate, hands-on role for candidates who are patient, attentive, and willing to work closely with sick and recovering individuals.

Role Context

Patient Attendants in this hospital are assigned to individual patients or a small group of 2 to 3 patients per shift. You will work alongside nurses and doctors in general wards, surgical recovery rooms, and semi-private rooms. Shifts run in 8-hour blocks — morning, evening, and night — and are assigned on a weekly rotation. The nursing in-charge oversees all attendant activity and approves any non-routine patient support decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities — eating, oral hygiene, bathing, and grooming
• Help patients move between bed, wheelchair, and attached washroom safely
• Monitor patient comfort and report any change in condition to the nurse on duty
• Ensure the patient's bedside area is clean, organized, and stocked with essentials
• Accompany patients to diagnostic departments and wait during procedures
• Communicate patiently with patients and their family members about daily care needs
• Maintain shift handover notes for the incoming attendant

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 10th pass; healthcare or nursing aide training is a plus
• Empathetic and composed — work involves direct contact with ill and recovering patients
• Physically capable of assisting with patient mobility and transfers
• Fluent in Hindi; English is useful for communicating with senior nursing staff
• Willing to work rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• Clean background and willingness to undergo a pre-joining medical check

Benefits & Work Conditions

• ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month based on shift and patient load
