About This Role

Hospitality Care is recruiting Ward Boys for a multispecialty hospital in Bangalore. The position covers patient transport, ward maintenance, and logistics support across inpatient wards. Role Context

You will be posted to one ward — typically general medicine, orthopaedics, or maternity — and work within a rotating shift team under the ward's nursing in-charge. Each shift covers 8 hours and involves both physical tasks like patient shifting and routine tasks like supply replenishment. Bangalore hospitals follow strict infection control protocols, and all ward boys are trained on these during the first week.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport patients within the hospital using wheelchairs, stretchers, and trolleys
• Assist nursing staff with patient bed transfers and repositioning
• Deliver lab specimens, blood samples, and reports between departments
• Maintain ward cleanliness — mop floors, disinfect surfaces, and change soiled linen
• Restock ward supply trolleys with consumables at the start of each shift
• Ensure patient call bells and ward equipment are functional and report faults
• Follow infection control and biomedical waste disposal procedures strictly

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 10th pass; SSLC or PUC holders encouraged to apply
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a hospital environment
• Basic Kannada or Hindi communication; English comprehension useful
• Willing to work rotating shifts — morning, afternoon, and night
• No prior hospital experience required — orientation and training provided
• Must be willing to complete Hepatitis B vaccination before first shift
