About This Role

Role Context

Dermatology NPs see 20–30 patients per day in a clinic staffed by dermatologists and support staff. You will manage medical dermatology cases autonomously — acne, psoriasis, eczema, rosacea — while cosmetic services (Botox, fillers) are a growing part of the practice mix at select locations. The workflow is procedure-rich and moves at a consistent pace.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat common skin conditions: acne, psoriasis, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, and contact dermatitis
• Perform skin biopsies, shave excisions, electrodesiccation, and cryotherapy
• Recognize and refer suspicious lesions for Mohs surgery evaluation
• Manage actinic keratoses with topical therapies, photodynamic therapy, and cryotherapy
• Administer cosmetic injectables including neuromodulators and dermal fillers (at eligible sites)
• Counsel patients on sun protection, skin cancer surveillance, and skincare regimen optimization

Requirements & Skills

• FNP-BC or AGNP-C board certification
• Active state NP license and DEA registration
• Dermatology experience as NP or RN preferred; training provided for motivated candidates
• Procedural aptitude for biopsies, excisions, and injections
• Patient-friendly communication style with attention to cosmetic and aesthetic concerns
• Interest in cosmetic dermatology and willingness to expand injectable skills
