About This Role

Premise Health is hiring Workplace Health Nurse Practitioners to staff on-site and near-site employer health clinics. You will serve as the primary care provider for employees and their dependents at employer-sponsored clinics operated by Premise at large corporate campuses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.

Role Context

Premise NPs operate as the sole or lead provider within an employer-sponsored clinic. You manage a defined employee population, often 1,000–5,000 members, for primary care, preventive screenings, acute illness, chronic disease management, and occupational health. Many clinics are open Monday–Friday during business hours, offering one of the most family-friendly schedules available in NP practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services including acute illness, annual physicals, and chronic disease management
• Conduct occupational health services: pre-employment exams, fit-for-duty evaluations, and work injury care
• Manage health coaching and population health programs for high-risk employees
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies within the clinic
• Coordinate specialist referrals and care navigation for enrolled employees
• Participate in employer wellness program planning and health fair activities

Requirements & Skills

• FNP-BC or AGNP-C certification
• Active NP license and DEA registration in state of practice
• Primary care or occupational health experience preferred
• Ability to practice independently with minimal on-site physician supervision
• Strong relationships-building skills for a defined employee patient population
• DOT Medical Examiner certification a plus
