Children's Hospital of Philadelphia
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join its Level IV NICU team — one of the busiest and most advanced neonatal programs in the country. You will provide around-the-clock advanced practice care to critically ill newborns including extremely premature infants, surgical neonates, and complex cardiac cases.
CHOP's 100-bed Level IV NICU admits over 1,400 infants per year, including high-risk deliveries, transport admissions, and post-surgical neonates. NNPs rotate through 12-hour shifts across day, night, and weekend coverage and work within a collaborative team of neonatologists, fellows, and bedside RNs. CHOP's NNP model emphasizes procedural independence and active rounding participation.
This role is for NNPs who want to practice at the pinnacle of neonatal medicine, with exposure to the most complex cases in pediatric health. The environment is demanding and emotionally intense, but the clinical depth and collaborative culture at CHOP make it one of the premier NNP positions in the country.
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is the nation's first children's hospital, founded in 1855, and consistently ranked among the top 3 pediatric hospitals in the United States. Its NICU, cardiac, and oncology programs are among the highest-volume and most research-intensive in the world.
Apply at jobs.chop.edu. Search "Neonatal Nurse Practitioner." The interview process includes a clinical competency evaluation and a structured panel interview with NICU NP leadership and neonatology faculty.
