Cleveland Clinic is recruiting Cardiology Nurse Practitioners to support its cardiovascular subspecialty programs across Ohio and Florida. You will work within one of the country's premier heart programs, managing pre- and post-operative cardiac patients, heart failure clinics, and outpatient cardiology follow-up panels.

Role Context

NPs in Cleveland Clinic's cardiovascular institute are deployed across heart failure clinics, electrophysiology, interventional cardiology follow-up, and structural heart disease programs. You may work in an outpatient capacity managing post-procedure follow-up or in an inpatient step-down unit monitoring recovering cardiac surgery patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage heart failure patients including titration of diuretics, ACE inhibitors, and beta-blockers
• Review and interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and stress test results
• Conduct post-cardiac catheterization and TAVR follow-up visits
• Coordinate EP study scheduling and device clinic follow-up for pacemaker and ICD patients
• Provide patient education on lifestyle modifications, anticoagulation management, and device alerts
• Collaborate with attending cardiologists on complex inpatient cases

Requirements & Skills

• ACNP-BC or AGACNP-BC preferred; FNP-BC with cardiology experience considered
• Active Ohio and/or Florida NP license
• DEA registration
• ACLS required; experience with cardiac monitoring strongly preferred
• Knowledge of heart failure management guidelines (ACC/AHA) and anticoagulation protocols
• Cardiology RN background or prior cardiology NP experience preferred
