MD Anderson Cancer Center
MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking Oncology Nurse Practitioners to join its world-renowned cancer treatment teams. You will work alongside subspecialty oncologists in one of the highest-volume cancer care settings in the world, managing patients through chemotherapy, immunotherapy, clinical trials, and post-treatment surveillance.
NPs at MD Anderson serve as pivotal members of disease-specific oncology teams — in breast, GI, leukemia, lymphoma, or thoracic cancer — depending on your specialty fit. You will manage symptom toxicities, order and interpret tumor markers and imaging, counsel patients on treatment timelines, and co-manage complex supportive care needs.
This role suits NPs who are drawn to complex, high-stakes clinical work and want to practice at the frontier of cancer care. Candidates with oncology RN backgrounds are particularly well-positioned. A strong tolerance for emotionally demanding patient interactions is essential.
MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston is consistently ranked the #1 cancer hospital in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. It treats more than 150,000 patients per year and conducts over 1,000 active clinical trials, making it one of the most research-intensive clinical environments in global oncology.
Apply directly at jobs.mdanderson.org. Search for "Nurse Practitioner" and filter by disease site or department. Selected candidates will complete a clinical skills assessment and a structured panel interview with oncology NP leadership.
