Role Context

Teladoc NPs handle an average of 8–14 consults per shift through the platform's proprietary virtual care interface. Consult types include acute illness, medication refills, behavioral health triage, and chronic care check-ins. You set your own schedule through the platform within a monthly availability commitment, making this one of the most flexible full-time NP roles available.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients via video for acute conditions: sinusitis, UTI, skin rash, flu, and more
• Prescribe medications and send e-prescriptions to the patient's pharmacy of choice
• Order labs and direct patients to in-network testing sites when needed
• Provide chronic disease follow-up for hypertension, diabetes, and thyroid conditions
• Conduct mental health screenings and refer to behavioral health as appropriate
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation within Teladoc's proprietary EHR

Requirements & Skills

• FNP-BC or AGNP-C board certification
• Active NP license in at least one state; multi-state licensure strongly preferred
• Minimum 2 years of clinical NP experience in primary care or urgent care
• Reliable high-speed internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant home workspace
• Comfort with asynchronous clinical decision-making and virtual-only assessment
• DEA registration in licensed states
