Role Context

LifeStance operates over 550 outpatient mental health centers across 33 states. PMHNPs at LifeStance see approximately 20–24 patients per week, split between initial psychiatric evaluations and follow-up medication management. The hybrid model lets you balance in-office days with telehealth sessions, reducing commute burden without losing face-to-face clinical engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new patients
• Develop and manage individualized medication treatment plans
• Monitor patient progress and adjust pharmacotherapy as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with therapists and case managers within the LifeStance care team
• Document clinical encounters accurately in the EHR (Athena)
• Coordinate with primary care providers on complex cases

Requirements & Skills

• Board certification as PMHNP-BC (ANCC)
• Active NP license in the state of practice; multi-state licensure a plus
• DEA registration required
• Experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and psychotic disorders
• Telehealth comfort and reliable home internet for remote sessions
• Strong diagnostic and psychopharmacology skills
