About This Role

Infosys is looking for Business Analysts to support digital transformation engagements for its global enterprise clients. Based out of Pune, this role sits at the intersection of business requirements and technology delivery. You will work closely with client stakeholders to document processes, define user stories, and guide development teams toward the right solutions. Candidates with 1–3 years of BA experience in IT services are preferred.

Role Context

You will be part of Infosys's Consulting and Systems Integration practice, supporting projects in banking, insurance, or retail verticals depending on business allocation. The team uses Agile delivery frameworks and you will work within a squad of developers, QA engineers, and solution architects. Client interaction is regular — both written and in calls — so communication quality matters as much as analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct requirement-gathering workshops with client business teams
Document functional requirements, process flows, and use cases
Translate business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria
Facilitate sprint planning sessions and track backlog grooming
Perform gap analysis between current-state processes and proposed solutions
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and sign-off documentation for client approval
Coordinate UAT with business users and track defect resolution

Requirements & Skills

1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an IT services or product company
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodology
Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar
Excellent written and spoken English — client-facing communication is part of the role
Any graduation — MBA or engineering background preferred but not mandatory
Experience in BFSI or retail domain is an added advantage
