Role Context

TransDyne is a healthcare IT company that integrates transcription directly into hospital EHR workflows. Transcriptionists work from a secure remote desktop, connected to the same documentation system as the hospital. Files are routed by specialty and account, and transcriptionists develop deep familiarity with a consistent group of physicians over time — reducing lookup time and improving throughput.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe operative, radiology, and clinic dictations for assigned hospital accounts
• Produce accurate, formatted clinical documents within 4-hour and 12-hour TAT windows
• Integrate completed reports directly into the hospital's EHR via the TransDyne platform
• Maintain line count production targets agreed upon during onboarding
• Participate in monthly QA scoring and apply feedback from clinical editors
• Escalate dictation issues through the account manager when required

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 1 year of medical transcription experience
• Knowledge of surgical, acute care, or radiology terminology
• Typing speed of 65+ WPM
• Experience working within hospital EHR systems
• AHDI training completion or RHDS/CMT credential preferred
• Ability to maintain a reliable schedule and consistent production
