Role Context

Aquity Solutions supports health systems transitioning from traditional transcription to speech recognition-assisted documentation. Specialists split their time between editing speech-recognized drafts and transcribing files where AI output quality is insufficient. You will work assigned client accounts and follow their specific documentation workflows and EHR integration protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit speech-recognized clinical drafts for accuracy and completeness
  • Transcribe dictated reports for files flagged as low-confidence AI output
  • Ensure all documentation meets Joint Commission and CMS standards
  • Apply account-specific templates for each client health system
  • Maintain daily production targets measured in characters or lines
  • Escalate documentation inconsistencies through the quality review process

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of medical transcription or clinical documentation experience
  • Proficiency in speech recognition editing tools (Nuance, MModal, or similar)
  • Broad medical terminology — multi-specialty knowledge strongly preferred
  • Typing speed of 70+ WPM
  • RHDS or CMT certification is advantageous
  • Experience working within Epic, Cerner, or Meditech platforms
