Pharmacy Assistant Duties
- Receive and process prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
- Count, measure, and label medications accurately
- Manage prescription intake at the pharmacy counter
- Process ODB, insurance, and cash transactions
- Maintain medication inventory and order stock as directed
Requirements
- Pharmacy Assistant Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional attention to detail — accuracy is critical in this role
- Discrete and professional with patient information (PIPEDA compliance)
- Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is an asset
Compensation
- CAD $18–$24/hour
