Role Context:

The BA Analyst team supports transformation and reporting projects for banking, financial services, and risk management clients. Analysts work alongside consultants, project managers, finance stakeholders, and technical teams to improve reporting workflows and maintain data accuracy across enterprise systems. Daily responsibilities may include reviewing reporting rules, validating data completeness, preparing business documentation, and participating in testing cycles tied to finance and risk platforms. The role also contributes to both “Change the Bank” initiatives focused on transformation and “Run the Bank” operations supporting ongoing business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze reporting requirements and business processes across finance and risk systems
• Review data sources, reporting structures, and transformation workflows for accuracy
• Support root cause analysis for operational and reporting-related issues
• Prepare business analysis documentation, functional specifications, and proof-of-concept materials
• Reconcile datasets and track data evolution across multiple reporting applications
• Participate in integration, regression, and system testing activities for reporting enhancements
• Collaborate with local and global teams to establish process handoffs and workflow coordination
• Assist with updating project documentation and tracking project priorities
• Contribute to reporting improvements within General Ledger and finance-related platforms

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field
• Understanding of business analysis concepts and reporting workflows preferred
• Basic SQL knowledge is an advantage for data validation and reporting tasks
• Familiarity with AI concepts or AI-related workflows is beneficial
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working with large datasets and structured documentation
