Job Overview:

Job Title: Junior Data Analyst

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Onsite)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Experience Level: 0–1 Year

Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month

Role Context:

The analytics team works closely with business clients who rely on reporting dashboards and operational insights to guide decision-making. Junior Data Analysts collaborate with consultants, reporting specialists, and client stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and prepare data-driven presentations. Daily work includes extracting information from databases, cleaning datasets, and developing Power BI dashboards for recurring reporting needs. The role also involves occasional travel to client locations, especially during reporting implementation or project review phases where direct discussions with stakeholders are required.

Responsibilities:

Gather reporting requirements directly from clients and internal stakeholders
Extract, clean, and organize data using SQL queries and reporting tools
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards with interactive visualizations
Analyze business data using Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas
Reporting presentations and summary insights must be prepared for client review meetings
Collaborate with internal teams to support ongoing analytics and reporting projects
Maintain documentation related to data sources, workflows, and reporting structures
Assist with identifying data inconsistencies and improving reporting accuracy
Participate in client discussions and occasional onsite business meetings

Requirements & Skills:

Basic to intermediate experience with SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel required
Understanding of DAX functions and data modeling concepts preferred
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Good communication skills in English and Hindi
Comfortable explaining reports and insights to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple reporting requests
Willingness to travel for client meetings when required
Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech, BCA, or B.Sc Computer Science preferred
Fresh graduates with internship or project experience in data analytics may apply
