Network Operations Center Analyst Jobs in Bangalore – Night Shift IT Support Hiring

About This Role

Fresher Hub is placing Network Operations Center Analysts with an IT services firm in Bangalore running a 24x7 NOC that monitors infrastructure for enterprise clients across BFSI and retail sectors. The night shift team of 6 handles alert monitoring, first-level troubleshooting, and escalation coordination while the day team is offline. This is a stable, structured role for candidates who are comfortable with overnight shifts and want to build a foundation in network and systems monitoring.

Role Context

The NOC operates from a dedicated floor in the Whitefield office and uses SolarWinds and PagerDuty for alert management. Each analyst handles a dashboard covering 40 to 60 client nodes per shift. Escalations above L1 go to the on-call L2 engineer via a ticketing system. The shift runs from 9 PM to 7 AM with a 30-minute overlap briefing at the start. You will report to the NOC Shift Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network, server, and application health dashboards throughout the night shift
• Acknowledge and respond to alerts within defined SLA windows — typically 5 to 15 minutes
• Perform first-level troubleshooting — ping tests, service restarts, log checks — before escalating
• Log every incident in the ticketing system with accurate timestamps and action taken
• Escalate unresolved or recurring alerts to the L2 engineer with a complete incident summary
• Coordinate with client teams over email or bridge calls when a P1 or P2 incident is declared
• Hand over open tickets and shift notes to the incoming morning team at the end of the shift

Requirements & Skills

• Graduate in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related stream
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network device types
• Familiarity with any monitoring tool — SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, or similar
• Comfortable working the night shift five days a week on a rotating weekly-off schedule
• Good written English for incident documentation and client-facing emails
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification is an advantage but not mandatory

• ₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month depending on experience
