Meta is hiring a Data Scientist to extract actionable insights from petabyte-scale datasets and influence how billions of people connect on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze experiments to measure feature and product impact
- Build predictive models and machine learning pipelines
- Translate complex data findings into clear recommendations for leadership
- Partner with product and engineering teams throughout the feature lifecycle
- Develop scalable data tools and dashboards using SQL and Python
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field
- 3+ years of experience in data science or applied research
- Expert-level SQL and Python skills; experience with Spark or Hive
- Strong statistical reasoning and A/B testing expertise
