The role combines ward support, patient assistance, and basic logistics tasks in a structured hospital setting. Role Context

You will be assigned to a general or surgical ward and work within a structured shift system managed by the ward nurse in-charge. Lucknow hospitals serve a high-volume inpatient load from UP and neighboring states, so consistency and reliability are valued above all. Daily tasks are assigned at the start of each shift based on patient census and ward priority for that day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with patient transport within the hospital campus using trolleys and wheelchairs
• Support nursing staff with patient hygiene, bed change, and comfort adjustments
• Maintain ward cleanliness and follow biomedical waste segregation procedures
• Deliver meals to patients and collect trays after feeding time
• Dispatch lab specimens and collect diagnostic reports from the pathology department
• Keep nursing station supply stocks replenished throughout the shift
• Coordinate with housekeeping for deep cleaning of discharged patient beds

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 8th or 10th pass
• Fluent in Hindi — Lucknow's hospital patient base is primarily Hindi-speaking
• Physically active and reliable with shift attendance
• Comfortable with cleaning, lifting, and patient-handling tasks
• Prior hospital, clinic, or home caregiver experience preferred
• Willing to work rotating morning, evening, and night shifts

Benefits & Work Conditions

• ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month
