About This Role

Hospitality Care is recruiting Patient Care Attendants for a private hospital in Ahmedabad. The role involves supporting patients admitted in general and semi-private wards with daily care needs — meals, hygiene, mobility, and comfort — while coordinating closely with the ward nursing team. Role Context

Each attendant is assigned to a small group of 2 to 4 patients per shift and is responsible for their direct care support throughout the 8-hour window. You will work under the guidance of the nurse in-charge, with a handover note system used between shifts to ensure continuity of care. The hospital serves a mix of local and outstation patients, so Hindi communication is as important as Gujarati in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist assigned patients with meals, water intake, and oral care during the shift
• Support patient hygiene — bed bath, linen change, and grooming assistance
• Help patients move safely between bed, chair, and washroom
• Monitor and report any visible changes in patient condition to the nurse on duty
• Keep the bedside area organized and free of clutter throughout the shift
• Accompany patients to diagnostic departments and remain with them during procedures
• Complete shift handover notes accurately for the incoming attendant

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 10th pass; nursing aide or caregiver training certification preferred
• Fluent in Gujarati; working knowledge of Hindi required
• Empathetic, patient, and able to maintain composure with unwell individuals
• Physically capable of assisting patients with mobility and transfers
• Willing to work rotational 8-hour shifts including nights and holidays
• Pre-joining medical fitness check required

Benefits & Work Conditions

• ₹10,000 – ₹16,000 per month based on shift and patient assignment
