About This Role

HealthFirst India is hiring a Physiotherapist for its Pune multispecialty clinic to provide outpatient physiotherapy services to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. BPT-qualified physiotherapists with Maharashtra Physiotherapy Council registration are invited to apply. The clinic handles 30–50 outpatient physiotherapy sessions daily, and the selected candidate will manage assessment, treatment planning, and patient progress documentation with full clinical autonomy under consultant physician supervision.

Role Context

You will report to the Head of Rehabilitation and work alongside one other physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, and a physiotherapy technician. The Pune clinic's outpatient physiotherapy caseload includes post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injury management, neurological rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will be expected to conduct independent assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and maintain clear progress documentation that meets NABH physiotherapy record standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for new patients including history, observation, and functional testing
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using appropriate manual therapy and exercise interventions
• Deliver prescribed physiotherapy sessions including electrotherapy, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and hydrotherapy
• Monitor patient progress against defined goals and modify treatment plans based on objective reassessment findings
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, posture correction, and activity modifications
• Maintain accurate NABH-compliant physiotherapy documentation for all patient sessions and progress notes
• Coordinate with orthopedic consultants, neurologists, and surgeons on post-operative rehabilitation protocols
• Assist in designing group exercise programs for elderly and chronic pain management clinic patients

Requirements & Skills

• BPT with valid Maharashtra Physiotherapy Council registration — mandatory requirement
• 0–3 years of outpatient or hospital-based physiotherapy experience; freshers with internship completion welcome
• Proficiency in musculoskeletal assessment and manual therapy techniques for common orthopedic conditions
• Knowledge of neurological rehabilitation principles for stroke, Parkinson's, and post-surgical neurological cases
• Experience with electrotherapy modalities including TENS, ultrasound, and interferential therapy
• Clear, empathetic communication for patient education and home exercise instruction
• Good NABH documentation habits for physiotherapy session notes and outcome measurement recording
