Role Context

You will report to the Health Analytics Lead and work within a team of three analysts supporting HealthAxis's clinical operations and client reporting functions. Data sources include occupational health screening results, patient visit records, chronic disease surveillance data, and employee wellness program participation metrics. You will transform this data into actionable insights for client health teams and internal program managers. SQL and Python are the primary tools; clinical domain knowledge is developed over time with support from the medical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and validate clinical dataset quality from occupational health and hospital management systems
• Perform statistical analysis on health screening data to identify disease trends and at-risk employee populations
• Build and maintain health program performance dashboards for client reporting using Power BI or Tableau
• Prepare monthly and quarterly health analytics reports for corporate clients including trend analysis and recommendations
• Develop data models for health risk stratification and chronic disease prevalence tracking across client populations
• Collaborate with medical officers and nurses to interpret clinical findings within analytical context
• Validate data integrity across health information systems and flag anomalies for medical team review
• Support health program evaluation studies with data collection design and outcome analysis

Requirements & Skills

• 2–4 years of data analysis experience; healthcare or life sciences domain experience is preferred
• Advanced SQL skills for clinical database querying, transformation, and quality validation
• Working knowledge of Python with Pandas for data processing and statistical analysis tasks
• Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for building clinical reporting dashboards
• Background in life sciences, public health, health informatics, or biostatistics preferred
• Ability to communicate data findings clearly to non-technical medical and operations stakeholders
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding, health screening terminology, or occupational health concepts is an advantage
