About This Role

CodeBridge India is hiring a DevOps Engineer for its Bangalore infrastructure team. The role covers CI/CD pipeline management, AWS infrastructure provisioning, container orchestration, and production reliability for a suite of fintech microservices. The team deploys to production multiple times per week and the DevOps function is central to maintaining the uptime, security, and release velocity that CodeBridge's financial services clients depend on. This is a hands-on technical role, not a ticket-routing or coordination position.

Role Context

You will report to the Infrastructure Lead and work as one of three DevOps engineers supporting twelve development teams across Mumbai and Bangalore. The environment is primarily AWS with Docker containers orchestrated on EKS. Deployments are automated through Jenkins pipelines, and infrastructure is managed as code using Terraform. You will participate in the on-call rotation for production incidents and are expected to improve reliability metrics, not just respond to alerts.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for microservices across development, staging, and production environments
Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, and CloudFront using Terraform
Monitor system health using CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus and respond to production incidents
Implement security controls including IAM policies, VPC configurations, and secrets management
Optimize Docker images and Kubernetes deployment manifests for resource efficiency and startup speed
Automate routine operational tasks including log rotation, database backups, and certificate renewals
Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventive infrastructure changes to reduce recurrence
Collaborate with development teams on deployment readiness, environment parity, and release planning

Requirements & Skills

2–4 years of DevOps or cloud infrastructure engineering experience in an AWS environment
Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code provisioning and state management
Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes including deployment manifests, services, and ingress
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipeline implementation using Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Proficiency with Linux system administration, shell scripting, and process management
Experience configuring monitoring and alerting stacks using Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools
AWS Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps Professional certification is a strong advantage
