About This Role

TechAxis India is hiring a Full Stack Developer for its Bangalore product team. This role sits at the intersection of backend API development and React-based frontend work, and is best suited for developers who are equally comfortable in both layers. The team is building a next-generation client portal for logistics and warehouse management, and needs a developer who can take a feature from database schema to deployed UI without requiring handoffs at every layer of the stack.

Role Context

You will report directly to the Product Engineering Manager and work within a small, cross-functional squad of three full stack developers, one DevOps engineer, and a product manager. Sprint cycles are two weeks. The team meets in-person on Tuesdays and Thursdays; the rest of the week is flexible. Full stack developers at TechAxis own features end to end — you write the API, the database layer, and the UI component. This requires comfort context-switching between Node.js and React within the same working day.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop RESTful APIs in Node.js and connect them to MySQL and Redis data stores
Build React components and pages that consume internal APIs and render real-time data clearly
Define and maintain database schemas including migrations for new features and data changes
Write tests for both backend logic and critical UI flows using Jest and Supertest
Participate in product planning sessions and contribute technical feasibility assessments
Deploy features through the CI/CD pipeline and monitor post-release behavior in staging and production
Conduct code reviews across the frontend and backend layers of the product codebase
Identify and resolve cross-layer performance issues such as over-fetching and unnecessary re-renders

Requirements & Skills

2–4 years of full stack development experience with Node.js and React
Solid understanding of MySQL or PostgreSQL for schema design and query writing
Proficiency in React including hooks, context, and component lifecycle patterns
Experience with REST API design, authentication flows, and request/response handling
Comfort using Git with feature branching, pull request workflows, and conflict resolution
Ability to estimate work accurately and communicate blockers early in a sprint cycle
Exposure to Redis, Docker, or AWS services is a meaningful plus for this position

Monthly salary of ₹35,000–₹70,000 based on full stack experience across both layers
