About This Role

HealthLine Support USA is looking for compassionate and reliable individuals to join our remote healthcare call center team as full-time Customer Support Representatives. In this role, you will handle inbound and outbound calls on behalf of healthcare providers, insurance payers, and pharmacy benefit programs. Your primary purpose will be to assist patients, members, and healthcare professionals with inquiries related to benefits, claims, prescriptions, referrals, and appointment information — all from the comfort of your home office.

Role Context

Healthcare call centers are a critical component of patient support infrastructure in the United States. HealthLine Support USA serves clients across pharmacy, hospital systems, and managed care organizations. Representatives in this role interact with dozens of patients and members each day, requiring a calm, knowledgeable, and efficient communication style. You will be trained on client-specific workflows, HIPAA compliance, and de-escalation techniques before going live on the phones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls from patients, members, and healthcare providers in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide accurate information about insurance benefits, claim status, and prior authorization requirements
  • Assist patients with prescription refill requests, pharmacy transfers, and medication questions
  • Schedule, reschedule, or cancel medical appointments and record all interactions in the CRM system
  • Escalate complex clinical or urgent inquiries to the appropriate clinical or supervisory team
  • Conduct outbound calls for appointment reminders, care gap closures, and member wellness programs
  • Document all call details accurately and completely in the client-designated platform
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and client-specific confidentiality protocols
  • Achieve and maintain defined KPIs including average handle time, first-call resolution, and quality scores

Requirements & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in healthcare or business is a plus
  • 1–2 years of experience in a call center, customer service, or healthcare support role preferred
  • Familiarity with health insurance terminology, EOBs, co-pays, and prescription benefit plans
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear, patient, and empathetic tone
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and systems simultaneously during live calls
  • Comfortable with a structured, monitored work environment and performance metrics
  • Reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps) and a dedicated, noise-free home workspace
  • Availability to work in any US time zone including early morning or evening shifts as required

Benefits & Work Conditions

  • Monthly compensation of USD 2,400 – 3,200 based on experience and shift assignment
  • Fully remote with equipment provided after successful completion of onboarding
  • Paid training period covering healthcare compliance, platform navigation, and client protocols
