Responsibilities
- Complete LifePoint Health's 12-month Nurse Manager Leadership Development Program
- Assist in leading nursing unit operations at a LifePoint community hospital
- Support development of unit staffing plans and coverage strategies to ensure patient safety
- Monitor clinical quality indicators and contribute to performance improvement projects
- Assist in onboarding and orienting new nursing staff to the unit
- Lead or support patient satisfaction improvement initiatives on assigned unit
- Complete mandatory nursing management certification through LifePoint's online learning platform
Requirements
- BSN required
- Active RN license in applicable state
- Recent nursing graduate or up to 1 year of clinical experience
- BLS certification required
- Passion for community-based healthcare and serving non-urban populations
- Strong team leadership skills and customer service orientation
