Responsibilities
- Rotate through Essentia Health's inpatient, critical access, and specialty units as a nurse manager trainee
- Assist unit Nurse Managers in daily staffing, care coordination, and patient flow management
- Participate in Essentia's nursing quality initiatives including NDNQI data collection and reporting
- Support nursing staff engagement through recognition programs and professional development planning
- Assist in preparation and follow-up for regulatory inspections and accreditation surveys
- Coordinate with health equity teams to address social determinants of health in patient care planning
- Complete Essentia Health's Leader in Practice development curriculum
Requirements
- BSN required
- Active Minnesota, Wisconsin, or North Dakota RN license or multistate compact license
- Recent nursing graduate with interest in rural and community healthcare leadership
- BLS certification required
- Strong commitment to health equity and serving diverse regional communities
- Excellent collaboration and team communication skills
