Responsibilities
- Complete Geisinger's 18-month Nurse Manager Leadership pathway with structured mentorship and milestones
- Assist in planning and managing staffing needs across acute care nursing units
- Participate in Geisinger's ProvenCare model initiatives, supporting standardized care delivery
- Support quality metrics monitoring and assist with performance improvement action plans
- Lead nursing team huddles and participate in interdisciplinary care coordination rounds
- Assist in developing staff competencies and completing performance evaluations
- Engage in Geisinger's nursing research culture by supporting unit-based evidence-based projects
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN in leadership preferred
- Pennsylvania RN license active or in process
- Recent nursing graduate (Class of 2024–2026)
- BLS certification required
- Interest in population health, clinical innovation, and research
- Strong critical thinking and team leadership skills
