Parkland Health – Nurse Manager – Entry Level

Responsibilities
- Support unit Nurse Manager in leading daily clinical operations on a designated acute care unit
- Manage shift staffing and adjust assignments to meet real-time patient acuity changes
- Coordinate care for a diverse, multilingual patient population with cultural humility
- Lead bedside nursing rounds and assist with complex patient care planning
- Monitor infection prevention metrics and assist in performance improvement plan development
- Participate in nursing shared governance and Magnet documentation processes
- Complete Parkland's Nursing Leadership Development Series coursework
Requirements
- BSN required
- Active Texas RN license
- Recent nursing graduate with clinical experience in high-acuity settings preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- Commitment to serving uninsured and underserved patient populations
