Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured 12-month trainee program rotating through multiple nursing specialties
- Assist in daily nursing operations, staffing decisions, and patient throughput coordination
- Lead patient safety rounds with a focus on fall prevention and pressure injury reduction
- Support nurse preceptor assignments and track new hire competency completion
- Participate in THR's Transforming Care at the Bedside initiatives
- Assist in preparing data for unit-level regulatory and accreditation reviews
- Complete Texas Health's Leader Learning Path certification series
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN preferred or in progress
- Active Texas RN license
- Recent nursing graduate (Class of 2024–2026)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong values alignment with THR's faith-based mission
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire peers in clinical settings
