Responsibilities
- Complete CHOP's Pediatric Nurse Manager Leadership Development Program over 18 months
- Rotate through pediatric medical, surgical, oncology, and NICU units under senior manager supervision
- Assist in staffing and care coordination for complex pediatric patient populations
- Support family-centered care initiatives and parent communication strategies
- Participate in CHOP's nursing quality programs including infection prevention and safe sleep protocols
- Assist in developing and updating nursing unit policies and procedures
- Contribute to nursing research and evidence-based practice projects
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN in pediatric nursing or leadership preferred
- Active Pennsylvania RN license
- Recent nursing graduate with strong passion for pediatric and family-centered care
- BLS and PALS certifications required or willingness to obtain
- Excellent empathy, communication, and collaboration skills
- Interest in nursing research and academic medical center environment
