Responsibilities
- Complete structured rotational assignments across acute care and specialty nursing units
- Assist Nurse Managers in daily operations, patient safety rounds, and team communication
- Support nurse staffing and scheduling optimization across assigned units
- Lead quality and safety improvement projects identified by unit leadership
- Participate in shared governance through practice council membership
- Learn nurse manager responsibilities in budgeting, HR, and regulatory compliance
- Complete Advocate Health's Nursing Leader Academy certification curriculum
Requirements
- BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
- Current North Carolina or applicable state RN license
- Recent nursing graduate with demonstrated clinical leadership aptitude
- BLS certification required; additional specialty certifications encouraged
- Strong commitment to health equity and culturally sensitive care
- Excellent communication and team facilitation skills
