Responsibilities
- Shadow senior Nurse Managers and complete rotational assignments across medical/surgical, ICU, and ED units
- Assist in planning and managing staffing for assigned shifts and units
- Support patient care coordination and family communication initiatives
- Participate in regulatory preparation and unit policy review activities
- Monitor and report on clinical quality indicators including pressure injury rates and hand hygiene compliance
- Lead or co-lead nursing staff education sessions on new protocols or equipment
- Complete SSM Health's Faith-Based Nursing Leadership Development Program
Requirements
- BSN required
- Current or pending Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, or Oklahoma RN license
- Recent graduate (2024–2026) with strong clinical evaluation records
- Demonstrated values of compassion, respect, and excellence in care
- Willingness to work across multiple units and shifts during training
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
