Responsibilities
- Oversee shift operations on assigned nursing unit, ensuring safe and respectful patient care
- Manage staff assignments, break coverage, and real-time staffing adjustments
- Coordinate with case management and social work on discharge planning activities
- Ensure regulatory compliance and documentation accuracy on the unit
- Lead safety huddles and review near-miss and adverse event reports
- Participate in new nurse orientation and preceptor program oversight
- Complete modules in Bon Secours Mercy Health's Nurse Leadership Development Series
Requirements
- BSN required
- Active Ohio, Virginia, or applicable state RN license
- New graduate RN with leadership experience in clinical or community settings
- Commitment to Bon Secours Mercy Health's Catholic mission and values
- BLS required; specialty certification encouraged
- Strong emotional intelligence and servant-leadership mindset
