Responsibilities
- Complete a 12-month Nurse Manager Residency rotation across acute care, critical care, and ambulatory units
- Assist the assigned Nurse Manager in daily operations, team communication, and staff deployment
- Participate in Magnet program activities including exemplary practice documentation
- Lead team-based quality improvement initiatives using the PDSA improvement model
- Support patient and family advisory council activities on assigned unit
- Learn strategic workforce planning and support nurse retention programs
- Present residency capstone project to nursing leadership at program completion
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN in leadership preferred
- Active New Jersey RN license or in process
- Recent nursing graduate (Class of 2024–2026)
- Strong commitment to Magnet nursing principles and evidence-based practice
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EMR platforms preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
