Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of an assigned nursing unit in collaboration with a senior nurse manager
- Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care delivery during every shift
- Manage unit staffing to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios and budget adherence
- Facilitate staff communication through pre-shift huddles and post-shift debriefs
- Coordinate care transitions, patient placement, and bed management
- Assist in managing HCAHPS scores and patient satisfaction improvement projects
- Participate in AdventHealth's Nurse Leadership Development Curriculum
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN in progress or planned preferred
- Active Florida (or applicable state) RN license
- New graduate nurse or RN with up to 1 year of experience
- Previous charge nurse experience or student nurse leadership role preferred
- Passion for whole-person care and faith-based healthcare mission
- Proficiency in Epic EMR preferred
