Responsibilities
- Support Nurse Manager in overseeing clinical and operational functions of a designated unit
- Participate in staffing grid reviews, schedule development, and float assignment decisions
- Lead bedside safety rounds and engage staff in patient safety conversations
- Assist in managing staff performance including coaching, recognition, and progressive discipline
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team on patient care plans and discharge readiness
- Contribute to unit-level quality dashboards and NDNQI metric improvement
- Participate in Providence's Caregiver Leadership development program
Requirements
- BSN required
- Current Washington, Oregon, or applicable state RN license
- New graduate nurse with demonstrated academic excellence or clinical leadership experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to work across day and evening shifts as program requires
- Strong alignment with Providence's core values and mission
