Responsibilities
- Learn to oversee daily nursing unit operations under guidance of an experienced mentor manager
- Assist in development and monitoring of staffing plans to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios
- Support patient experience initiatives and respond to care concerns in a timely manner
- Participate in unit-level budget reviews and supply chain management
- Lead or co-lead quality improvement projects aligned with CommonSpirit Health's clinical priorities
- Represent nursing in interdisciplinary team rounds and hospital committee meetings
- Complete mandatory leadership education modules in the CommonSpirit Health Fellowship curriculum
Requirements
- BSN required; MSN in Nursing Leadership or Health Administration preferred
- Current RN license or pending state board results
- Recent nursing graduate with strong clinical performance record
- Commitment to CommonSpirit Health's core values of collaboration, innovation, and compassion
- Excellent critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
