About This Role

DataBridge Analytics India is hiring Remote Data Analysts for its work-from-home analytics team. This is a full-time, 100% remote role for professionals with 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting. You will analyze datasets, build dashboards, and deliver insights to business stakeholders for DataBridge's clients in retail, e-commerce, and fintech sectors. Strong SQL, Excel, and Power BI or Tableau skills are required.

Role Context

DataBridge provides analytics-as-a-service to growing Indian businesses that need data insights but do not have an in-house data team. As a Data Analyst, you are assigned to 2–3 client accounts and act as their primary data contact. You receive raw data or database access, understand the business question, run the analysis, and deliver a clear report or dashboard. Client communication happens via email and scheduled video calls once or twice a week. All internal collaboration is done on Slack and Notion. The work has low on-call pressure — most deliverables are scheduled reports with defined deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data from PostgreSQL, MySQL, or BigQuery
Clean and prepare datasets in Excel or Python (Pandas) before analysis
Build dashboards in Power BI or Tableau to visualize KPIs for client stakeholders
Perform cohort analysis, funnel analysis, trend analysis, and ad-hoc deep dives as assigned
Prepare weekly and monthly insight reports with clear, actionable observations
Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in scheduled client calls
Identify data quality issues in source systems and report to the data engineering team

Requirements

1–3 years of professional data analysis or BI reporting experience
Strong SQL — joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions, aggregations
Excel — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, charts
Power BI or Tableau — dashboard development experience required
Python (Pandas, Matplotlib) for data manipulation is a strong plus
Good communication — ability to explain data findings in plain business language
Laptop with 8 GB RAM and stable broadband for remote work
