About This Role

CloudPulse Technologies India is hiring a DevOps Engineer for its remote infrastructure team on an urgent basis. Immediate joiners (notice period 0–15 days) are strongly preferred. This is a 100% remote, full-time role for engineers with 2–5 years of hands-on DevOps experience. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure on AWS, and container orchestration on Kubernetes. If you are available immediately and have strong AWS and Kubernetes experience, apply now.

Role Context

CloudPulse builds and operates cloud infrastructure for a SaaS platform serving 200+ enterprise clients. The DevOps team of 4 engineers manages all CI/CD, cloud provisioning, monitoring, and incident response. You will inherit a well-documented infrastructure managed through Terraform, with GitHub Actions driving all deployments. The outgoing engineer has a 15-day overlap for knowledge transfer. Post-transition, you own the CI/CD pipeline and all AWS infrastructure for 3 of the 5 platform environments. On-call rotation is one week in four — incidents are rare but response time SLA is 30 minutes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines built on GitHub Actions — build, test, deploy workflows
Provision and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform — EC2, RDS, EKS, S3, CloudFront, IAM
Manage Kubernetes clusters on EKS — deployments, scaling, Helm chart management, namespace isolation
Monitor infrastructure health using Datadog or AWS CloudWatch — configure dashboards and alerts
Respond to production incidents, investigate root cause, and document post-mortems
Conduct quarterly infrastructure cost audits and implement optimization recommendations
Harden security posture — IAM least-privilege, secrets management, vulnerability scanning

Requirements

2–5 years of professional DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience
Strong AWS experience: EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudFront — required
Kubernetes: deployment management, Helm, RBAC, HPA, persistent volumes
Terraform: writing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code modules
CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI — at least one required
Scripting: Bash and basic Python for automation scripts
Immediate availability (0–15 days notice) is a strong requirement for this role
