Data Analyst – Commercial Analytics – Johnson & Johnson

We are seeking a Data Analyst on our Commercial Analytics team in New Brunswick, NJ — generating insights that drive sales strategy and market access for J&J's global pharmaceutical and medical technology portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Analyze pharmaceutical sales data, market share data, and patient prescription trends using IQVIA and Symphony Health datasets
- Build commercial performance dashboards and sales force effectiveness reports in Veeva Vault and Tableau
- Support launch analytics for new drug and device launches including pre-launch baseline modeling
- Conduct patient journey analyses and treatment pathway analytics from real-world claims data
- Partner with marketing, sales leadership, and medical affairs on analytical deliverables
- Maintain and validate data pipelines feeding commercial reporting systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Public Health, Statistics, or Life Sciences
- Strong SQL and Excel analytics skills
- Experience with pharma industry datasets (IQVIA, claims data, EHR data) is a significant plus
- Tableau or Power BI proficiency for executive dashboard development
- Strong attention to data accuracy and compliance with pharma industry regulations
