Biomedical Engineer Associate – Stanford Health Care

Our Clinical Engineering department on the Stanford campus is seeking a Biomedical Engineer Associate to support our state-of-the-art medical device environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance and support for sophisticated medical devices in oncology, cardiac, and neurology departments
- Assist with clinical imaging and robotic surgery system (da Vinci) support activities
- Manage medical device integration with Epic EHR and device connectivity platforms
- Participate in Stanford's medical technology innovation partnership programs
- Conduct NFPA 99 electrical safety testing and environmental of care inspections
- Support clinical research teams with equipment qualification and data acquisition
Requirements
- BS in Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- 0-2 years of experience in clinical or academic medical center environment
- Interest in medical device innovation and health technology
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with physicians and research faculty
