Biomedical Technician Trainee

About This Role

CARE Hospitals is inviting fresh biomedical engineering graduates to join as Biomedical Technician Trainees — gaining hands-on experience in hospital clinical equipment maintenance and management across CARE's multi-specialty hospital network spanning Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, and Central India.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior biomedical engineers in preventive and corrective maintenance of clinical equipment — ICU monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and diagnostics equipment
• Perform electrical safety checks, leakage current testing, and equipment calibration verification
• Maintain equipment service histories, PPM schedules, and compliance records in the biomedical department database
• Coordinate with vendor service engineers for OEM repairs under AMC and warranty services
• Support clinical staff with equipment-related queries and basic operational training
• Participate in biomedical department's NABH accreditation preparation activities

Requirements & Skills

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or Electronics — 2024/2025 batch
• Basic knowledge of hospital medical equipment and electronics troubleshooting
• Willingness to learn and grow in a hospital biomedical engineering environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to handle equipment emergency calls during duty hours
• Good communication skills in English and Telugu/Hindi for hospital staff interactions
