About This Role
Johnson & Johnson MedTech India is seeking fresh biomedical and life science graduates as Clinical Education Associates — supporting surgeons, clinical teams, and hospital staff in adopting and optimizing J&J MedTech's surgical instruments, sutures, wound closure, and orthopedic implant products.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-theatre clinical support and technical assistance during surgical procedures using J&J MedTech instruments (Ethicon sutures, DePuy Synthes implants, Mentor products)
- Conduct clinical and technical training for surgeons, OT nurses, and hospital staff on J&J MedTech product use, technique, and safety protocols
- Organize and facilitate anatomy lab workshops, cadaveric training programs, and product demonstration events
- Support clinical evaluation and product assessment at new hospital accounts
- Collect and report adverse events, product complaints, and post-market surveillance data per J&J's vigilance procedures
- Collaborate with the sales team to support product launches, hospital tenders, and key account development
Requirements & Skills
- B.Sc./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Nursing, or Allied Health — 2024/2025 batch
- Interest in surgical specialties — general surgery, orthopaedics, gynecology, or wound care
- Comfortable in hospital OT and clinical environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for physician-level interactions
- High degree of professionalism, reliability, and ability to manage multiple hospital accounts
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
