About This Role

Navyug Trading Company is hiring an Accounts Executive for its Lucknow office to manage day-to-day accounting, GST filing, and vendor payments. This is a full-time role for candidates with 1–3 years of accounting experience and working knowledge of Tally Prime and GST. B.Com graduates with basic accounts knowledge and a willingness to learn are also considered for this position.

Role Context

You will handle the complete accounts function for a mid-size trading company with an annual turnover of approximately ₹12 crore. You will report directly to the proprietor and coordinate with a CA firm for annual audit and tax filings. The role involves both routine bookkeeping and periodic compliance work — GST returns, TDS, and bank reconciliation are core monthly tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain books of accounts in Tally Prime — purchase, sales, receipts, and payments
Prepare and file monthly GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and quarterly TDS returns
Reconcile bank statements and vendor ledgers monthly
Process vendor invoices and track payment due dates
Prepare monthly MIS — P&L summary and outstanding receivables report
Coordinate with the CA firm during audit and assessment proceedings

Requirements & Skills

1–3 years of accounts experience in a trading or manufacturing company
Proficiency in Tally Prime — mandatory
Working knowledge of GST filing and TDS provisions
B.Com or M.Com graduate preferred
Good MS Excel skills for MIS preparation
Honest, reliable, and comfortable handling sensitive financial data
