Role Context

EY Data Analytics Associates are staffed on engagements where data is central to the advisory work — model risk validation, financial crime analytics, ESG data management, or digital transformation programs. You will work in teams of 4–8 consultants and receive EY's structured training through Badges certification and EY Tech MBA coursework.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, transform, and analyze large financial or operational datasets using Python and SQL
• Validate or audit client ML models against regulatory and internal standards
• Develop visualizations and executive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau
• Support client workshops by preparing data decks and analytical summaries
• Contribute to EY's internal data science accelerators and reusable analytics templates
• Document data lineage and methodology for regulatory review submissions

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field
• Python or R for data analysis; SQL for data extraction and preparation
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI visualization tools
• Understanding of financial statements, risk concepts, or regulatory reporting is a plus
• Strong written communication for client deliverables and documentation
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
