Role Context

JP Morgan's Data Science Analyst Program places graduates into business lines including Consumer & Community Banking, Asset & Wealth Management, Global Technology, and the Chief Data & Analytics Office. You will rotate across teams in your first year to build breadth before specializing. Team sizes range from 5–20 analysts working under senior data scientists and directors.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Skills

  • Knowledge of Python or SQL; willingness to deepen both on the job
  • Foundational understanding of statistics, regression, and classification methods
  • Analytical mindset with attention to accuracy and documentation
  • Interest in financial services, risk management, or consumer analytics
  • Internship experience in data analytics or quantitative research is a plus
