Key Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare monthly journal entries
• Perform bank and account reconciliations on a monthly schedule
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Support month-end close by meeting the client company's close calendar
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements and external audits
• Reconcile fixed asset schedules and calculate depreciation entries

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Accounting (required); CPA track preferred
• Solid understanding of debits, credits, and GAAP accounting
• Excel proficiency; QuickBooks or NetSuite experience is a strong plus
• Detail-oriented and reliable in meeting close-calendar deadlines
• Professional demeanor for interaction with controllers and CFOs
• Any accounting internship, volunteer bookkeeping, or coursework project experience accepted
