Role Context

Mastercard's Finance organization operates with a global footprint, and junior analysts in the US support regional or functional reporting for North America. You will work in teams organized around Finance business partners, Controllers, or Financial Planning. Analysts have direct exposure to senior finance leadership and are expected to contribute meaningfully to monthly reporting cycles within their first two months.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly management reports for senior finance stakeholders
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate balance sheet variances
• Support quarterly earnings preparation with detailed financial schedules
• Analyze revenue and cost trends across Mastercard business lines
• Assist in building annual budget submissions with business unit data
• Prepare presentations for internal finance reviews and planning sessions

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• Strong Excel modeling and financial analysis skills
• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle financial systems is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail in financial data preparation
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Finance internship or coursework in corporate financial reporting preferred
