Role Context

BlackRock Finance Analysts work within Corporate Accounting, FP&A, or Finance Operations teams. Each team operates with lean headcount, meaning analysts are expected to own their deliverables with precision. BlackRock's Aladdin technology platform underpins financial reporting workflows, and analysts who develop Aladdin proficiency advance quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monthly and quarterly financial close and management account preparation
• Perform general ledger reconciliations across BlackRock's corporate entities
• Prepare fee revenue and expense reports for asset management business lines
• Support SEC and regulatory filing schedules for annual and quarterly reports
• Analyze financial performance and prepare variance commentary
• Support internal and external audit requests with timely documentation

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA-track preferred)
• Solid understanding of GAAP financial statements and accounting entries
• Excel proficiency; Aladdin or SAP experience is a bonus
• Precise and accurate in high-stakes financial reporting environments
• Proactive communication and ability to work with senior managers directly
• Internship at an asset manager, bank, or Big Four firm is a strong advantage
